The hotel rooms are your special domain. You are responsible for ensuring that guests feel at home in their rooms, including taking care of room cleaning, laundry, decorations, and breakfast service. As a hotel specialist, you will work closely with reception and support other colleagues in their tasks. You enjoy contact with people and foreign cultures, and always find a competent solution to guests' concerns.

Training Programme

During your training, you will gain insight into many different departments in our hotel. After three years of training, your experience will be complete and you will know exactly what is needed to ensure a perfect hotel stay. The start and main focus of the apprenticeship is housekeeping. Further stages of your apprenticeship include service, reception, floristry, and laundry departments. Over the course of your training, you will be able to take on more and more responsibility - always supported by our experienced specialist staff.

Good to know

Vocational School

Vocational school lessons and inter-company courses take place as a block course (2 x 5 weeks per apprenticeship year) at the Regina school hotel in Interlaken. During the block course you will live in the school hotel and attend classes from Monday to Friday. The cost of attending the school is approximately CHF 1,000 per block course for accommodation and meals.

1st year of apprenticeship CHF 1,070 per month

2nd year of apprenticeship CHF 1,350 per month

3rd year of apprenticeship CHF 1,600 per month
