Check-in & Check-out

When can I check in?

Room occupancy is guaranteed from 03:00 pm.

By when do I have to vacate the hotel room?

We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am at the latest on the day of departure. Late check-out is possible subject to availability, and at an extra charge. Please consult reception the evening before.

Can I leave my luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, please bring your luggage to reception. Your luggage can be safely stored here.

Parking

Is parking available at the hotel?

Yes.

Is there a charge for parking?

All outdoor and indoor parking spaces at Deltapark are available at reduced rates. Outdoor parking spaces are charged at CHF 5 per night for hotel guests. Garage parking spaces cost CHF 10 per night. All outdoor parking spaces are free of charge for direct bookers.

Is there a charging station for electric cars?

Yes, the hotel has two parking spaces with charging stations for electric cars.

Public transportation

Is the hotel well connected to public transportation?

The Bus Route #1 "Gwatt Deltapark" bus stop which takes you to Thun or Spiez, is located on the main road. Our "Panoramacard" guest pass, which you receive free of charge at check-in, is valid for the entire bus network in Thun and Spiez free of charge.

Hotel room

Do all hotel rooms have a view of Lake Thun?

No, there are also rooms with lawn, garden, or mountain views.

Can an additional bed be placed in the room?

We are happy to provide you with an extra bed for an additional charge, provided there is enough space in the room. For fire safety reasons, no more than three people may stay in one room.

How often will my room be cleaned?

Your room is cleaned daily. If you would like to skip room cleaning one day and make a contribution to climate protection, please use our Green Choice module in the digital guest directory.

Does the hotel have power adapters/euro converters?

You are welcome to borrow an adapter from reception for the duration of your stay. An adapter for Euro plugs can be found in the safe. A deposit fee will be added to your room bill, and deleted upon return of the device.

Is there a safe in the hotel?

All hotel rooms are equipped with a safe, with operating instructions printed on the inside of the door. Electronic devices can be charged in most safes (special plug). No liability is accepted for valuables, cash or checks stored in the rooms.

Service

Does the hotel offer a luggage service?

We are happy to assist you with your baggage transfer.

Does the hotel offer a laundry service?

Our laundry department will be happy to clean and iron your laundry. Please refer to the price list in your room. Laundry that is handed in by 02:00 pm will be returned to you by 06:00 pm the following day, at the latest. Would you like to iron your clothes yourself? We have a number of ironing stations. Please call housekeeping directly to order an iron.

Does the hotel offer a wake-up service?

Yes, please request your wake-up call at reception.

Does the hotel offer a sewing service?

Our laundry department will be happy to complete smaller sewing jobs for you.

I forgot my toothbrush, can you help?

Reception will be happy to provide you with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and other small items.

When is breakfast served?

Monday to Saturday: 06:30 am-10:30 am

Sunday: 7:30 am - 10:30 am

What are Deltaspa's opening hours?

Pool area and fitness room: 07:30 am to 09:00 pm

Swimsuit sauna area: 09:00 am to 09:00 pm

Classic sauna area: Mon-Fri: 11:00 am to 09:00 pm | Sat-Sun: 09:00 am to 09:00 pm

Are bathrobes and slippers available in the hotel?

We provide you with a bathrobe and a wellness basket free of charge during your stay. You will find these in your room. Wellness towels are available in the spa. Reusable slippers are available for CHF 5.00, or you can bring your own spa footwear with you from home - and help protect the environment and reduce the 1.5 tons of waste created annually by disposable slippers.

Can I use the wellness area before check-in or after check-out?

The wellness area is accessible from 01:00 pm on the day of arrival and until 01:00 pm on the day of departure.

Can external guests use the Deltaspa?

Yes, external guests are welcome at the Deltaspa subject to availability. Please contact us to make a reservation.

Restaurants

When is lunch served?

Lunch is served in the Delta restaurant from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm.

When does dinner service start?

The 4-course dinner is served from 06:00 pm.

You can dine at the Delta restaurant from 06:00 pm.

The 1st seating at the Deltaverde Thai Cuisine restaurant starts at 05:30 pm.

Is half board available?

Yes, as a hotel guest you can enjoy our 4-course dinner at the Delta restaurant. Half board can also be booked at the Deltaverde Thai Cuisine restaurant.

Can external guests eat in the restaurant?

External guests are very welcome in the Delta Restaurant and the Deltaverde Thai Cuisine Restaurant.

Is a table reservation necessary?

We recommend that our guests reserve in advance.

WLAN & Business Corner

Does the hotel have WiFi?

The hotel has Internet and a wireless LAN network available to guests free of charge. You can connect to "Deltapark Public" or "Deltapark Rooms" networks, login and passwords can be found on your room card cover. By logging into our network, you agree to the hotel's internet terms and conditions.

Is there a business corner in the hotel?

Yes, a PC and a printer are available for guests in the library.

Activities

Can I hire bicycles or bikes?

Yes, city bikes or e-bikes can be rented during the operating hours from 08:00 am to 07:00 pm.

Can I hire motorboats?

Yes, motorboats can be rented during the operating hours from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm. A skipper's license is not required for hire.

Pets

Can I bring my dog?

There are special rooms where dogs are allowed. An additional flat rate of CHF 25.- per night (excl. pet food) will be charged. Please bring your own dog beds for your four-legged friends - the hotel beds are for two-legged guests only.

Can I bring my dog go to the restaurant?

Dogs are allowed in all restaurants except Deltaverde Thai Cuisine. Dogs are not allowed here due to the open concept kitchen.

Can my dog stay in the hotel room alone?

Please do not leave your dog unattended in the room - dog owners are liable for damage to furniture and textiles.
